All student appointments have the option of being in-person or virtual based on the comfort level of the student. Drop-in hours are being held virtually or in-person. We are here to support you! Here is how you can reach the SFO team:
- Regular business hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm ; Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Advising appointments can be made Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
CALL THE OFFICE :(336) 334-5730 – SFO staff begin monitoring our phone line at 9 am on weekdays and are responsive to voicemails within the same day they’re received. Phone lines are not monitored over the lunch hour.
CHAT US VIA WEBCHAT: You’ve probably already seen the web chat box on the left hand column of our website. SFO team members are ready to live chat with you beginning at 9 am on weekdays. Our webchat is not monitored over the lunch hour.
SFO DROP-IN ADVISING HOURS: Advisors are available for drop-in assistance via Teams or in-person on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays @ 1-4 pm. Send us a chat via our WebChat Box (details below) to secure your spot in line or check in with the front desk for an in-person drop-in to see the next available advisor for a quick 15 minute session.

SCHEDULE WITH US VIA STARFISH – Exploratory majors and students with assigned Academic Recovery Coaches should schedule appointments through Starfish. Meetings are held virtually via Teams or in-person in Forney 101.
