Students who do not meet the GPA requirement of Academic Suspension will be placed on Academic Dismissal. Students on Academic Dismissal are ineligible to continue at UNCG, must sit out for one full academic year (one fall term and one spring term). Students placed on Academic Dismissal due to their spring performance are also ineligible to enroll in summer classes.

- Limit your enrollment to 16 semester hours every fall and spring term and 8 hours in the summer (4 hours per summer session) until Academic Good Standing is restored
- Earn a minimum 2.30 term GPA each term until a 2.00 cumulative GPA is restored
- Enroll in and successfully complete the requirements of the ARS 140 course
