Assigned Secondary Advisors are now appearing in Starfish if listed in Banner. Secondary advisors will display in the student’s folder via their Success Network.

Tracking Item Reminders
Clearing Tracking Items
The Students First Office and the College of Arts & Sciences advising centers currently conduct weekly outreach to students in their caseloads and clear flags one-week after outreach is completed for all responsive and nonresponsive students, based on early alert best practices.
Every academic term, students begin with zero active flags, kudos, and referrals. The Starfish administrator is responsible for clearing tracking items from the prior semester. Fall 2024 feedback items will be cleared on Friday, December 13 to allow students to enter the winter and spring terms with a fresh start. Cleared fall items will remain available in Starfish for historical viewing.
