There are several different appeal processes to assist undergraduate students with overcoming challenges that may arise during their time at UNCG. Click on the links below for detailed explanations and instructions for each appeal/request.
- Appeal to Withdraw for Extenuating Circumstances (WEC): Appeal to withdraw from one or more courses without academic or GPA penalty due to extenuating circumstances.
- Academic Suspension & Dismissal Appeals: Appeal to continue enrollment at UNCG the immediate next semester after being placed on Academic Suspension or Academic Dismissal.
- Return from Academic Dismissal Appeal: Appeal to return to UNCG after sitting out at least one year on Academic Dismissal.
- Financial Aid Appeal: Appeal to reinstate financial aid after you have become ineligible to receive financial aid.
- Academic Renewal Request: Request to help boost your GPA, if you left UNCG with a cumulative GPA below a 2.0 and have been away for at least 1 year. This is a 2-step qualification process, please be sure to closely review all pre-qualification information.
